Trump to Meet With Netanyahu at World Economic Forum in Davos; Iran, Peace Process With Palestinians

US President Donald Trump will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, British Prime Minister Theresa May, and other world leaders when he attends the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, this week, White House officials said on Tuesday.

Trump’s meeting with Netanyahu will be the first since the American president’s announcement of US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster said that in the meeting with Netanyahu, Trump will “reiterate America’s strong commitment to Israel and efforts to reduce Iran’s influence in the Middle East and ways to achieve lasting peace.”
